Dr.
Kim graduated from Occidental College in California
with honors, where he majored in Biology. He
attended Meharry Medical College in Tennessee again
graduating with honors, then trained in Internal
Medicine and Neurology at University of California
at Irvine. After that, he did additional
subspecialty training in Electroencephalogram,
Electromyogram, Epilepsy and Neuromuscular
disorders. He was involved in many research
projects, and gave and attended multiple conferences
in his specialty.
Diagnostic
procedures such as Electroencephalogram and
Electromyogram are routinely utilized by Dr. Kim.
Electroencephalogram is often used in the evaluation
of seizures, and Electromyogram is useful for
diagnosing entrapment neuropathies such as Carpal
Tunnel Syndrome, peripheral neuropathies,
radiculopathies, and myopathies.
Dr. Kim currently
maintains a busy private practice in his clinics and
hospitals, and is an active member of the American
Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic
Medicine and American Epilepsy Society.
